Tesvolt plans to increase production capacity to 4 GWh per year

Tesvolt AG of Wittenberg, Germany is planning to build a new factory for stationary battery storage systems and a research center. Around € 60 million ($ ### million) will be invested in two new buildings and modifications to the existing ones. Construction is scheduled to start this spring, with completion in 2024. The company wants to expand its production capacity to »up to four gigawatt hours per year,« meaning up to 80,000 storage systems can leave the plant annually. So far, capacity is only a tenth of this.
