Technique Solaire’s first Indian PV plant inaugurated in Uttarakhand

The Ambassador of France inaugurated the first Indian PV plant built by JLTM Energy India Pvt. Ltd., subsidiary of French EPC developer Technique Solaire. Location of the 5 MW utility is the village Maheshwari, Bhagwanpur, state of Uttarakhand. Financial partners were BPI France and Crédit Agricole. Investment was about INR 27 crore (€ 4 million).
As reported, Technique Solaire commissioned its first Indian project in March, in which local village farmers are made stakeholders in the project. Technique Solaire intends to develop more than 200 MW in India within the next three years.
