Studer presents »Infra« for the largely self-sufficient energy supply of buildings

The Swiss self-sufficiency specialist Studer Innotec SA has presented the »Infra Energy autarky hub«, an energy supply solution for private households and small businesses that is designed to enable a self-consumption share of up to 85 percent. The Infra system consists of the »Next 3« inverter, which was launched last year, as the central control unit. According to the manufacturer, it allows complete control over the production, storage and distribution of electricity without the need for an external meter. Up to 24 kilowatts of solar power and batteries with a storage capacity of up to 30 kilowatt hours can be connected. The system is fully capable of emergency power and can also be operated in stand-alone mode.
