Stefan Glunz receives Becquerel Prize for his work on cSi solar cells

Stefan Glunz is the division director of Solar Cells – Development and Characterization at Germany’s Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems.

Stefan Glunz, the division director of Solar Cells – Development and Characterization at Germany’s Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems ISE, has received the Becquerel Prize for his research work on high-efficiency crystalline silicon solar cells. The prize was awarded during the European PV conference and fair EU PVSEC, which is currently taking place in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Glunz’s research ranges from investigations into electrically active defects in solar cells through reducing material use to numerous innovations in production technology.
