Sowitec sold 200 MW PV plant in Brazil

German project developer Sowitec GmbH has sold a photovoltaic project with a capacity of 200 MW in Brazil in the state of Pernambuco via its local subsidiary Sowitec do Brasil to an unnamed European energy supplier. The same company had already acquired a 400 MW project from Sowitec in May 2018. Both projects are part of a solar cluster with a total output of up to 1,000 megawatts. Sowitec established 2002 its Brazilian branch in Salvador da Bahia and employs 47 people.
