»Solrif« variant complements Aleo’s LEO series

Module manufacturer Aleo Solar from Prenzlau, Germany has expanded its »LEO« series with monocrystalline PERC half cells by a variant for roof integration with the »Solrif« system from Swiss manufacturer Ernst Schweizer AG. The »LEO Sol 335-345 W Premium« with 96 cells is available in three power levels with 335, 340 and 345 W. The 20.5 kilogram glass-foil modules with a 3.2 millimeter thick cover glass measure 1,169 by 1,607 millimeters. Because part of the frame is covered by the adjacent module after installation, the visible area corresponds to a module efficiency of 18.5 to 19.1 percent (before installation: 17.8 to 18.4 percent).
The modules are equipped with three bypass diodes and a three-part junction box. The manufacturer provides a 25-year product warranty and a performance guarantee on linearly decreasing values from 98 percent of nominal power in the first two years to 85.12 percent after 25 years.
