Solaredge finished the second quarter of 2021 with record revenues

Inverter manufacturer Solaredge Technologies, Inc reported revenues of $480 million in the second quarter of 2021, up 18 percent from $405 million in the prior quarter and up 45 percent from $331 million in the same quarter last year. Revenues from the solar segment were $431.5 million, up 39 percent from $310 million in Q2 2020.
Operating income was $55 million, up 85 percent from $30 million in the same quarter last year. The company achieved net income of $45 million, up 23 percent compared with $36 million in the second quarter 2020. Furthermore, 1.64 GW (AC) of inverters were shipped.
Regarding the six month ended June 30, the manufacturer reported revenues of $885 million (H1 2020: $763 million). Net income was $75 million (H1 2020: $78 million).
For the third quarter, Solaredge expects revenues to be within the range of $520 million to $540 million, and revenues from solar segment to be within the range of $460 million to $480 million.
