Solar Americas Capital targets to build a solar portfolio of 2 GW in Brazil by 2026

British Solar Americas Capital Ltd. aims to launch upwards of 2 GW of solar power across Brazil by 2026. According to the company, it will co-fund, identify, build and manage the solar assets for commercial partners and has completed its first funding round, securing access to growth capital from private investors. It is starting the construction of its first solar farm in Brazil. Further funding is set to be accessed from private and institutional investors. Details about locations and projects were not disclosed.
Solar Americas Capital Ltd was founded in December 2020 in London and has subsidiaries in Brazil and Portugal.
