Socom and Evocells announce module production in Luxembourg

Luxembourg-based technical building equipment company Socom and Belgian photovoltaic company Evocells have agreed to set up a solar module production facility in Luxembourg with an annual capacity of around 50 megawatts. »Solarcells Luxembourg« is expected to start operations »within a few months.« Evocells has already had a small module production facility in Marche-En-Famenne, Belgium, since 2012. The company announced plans »to double its production capacity again« later this year. The official announcement was made by the two companies involved together with Luxembourg’s Minister of Economy Franz Fayout and Minister of Energy Claude Turmes.
