Seraphim and Rodina signed 1 GW module supply contract

China's Jiangsu Seraphim Solar System Co, Ltd. will supply monofacial and bifacial half-cell modules of the Seraphim S4 series with a capacity of one gigawatt to Ukrainian project developer and plant operator Rodina Energy Group LLC. This is the first collaboration between the two companies, but they expect a long term partnership, the companies said. Details were not disclosed. In recent years, Rodina has not only consolidated its presence in Eastern Europe and Central Asia, but also gradually expanded its business in North America and other markets, said Polaris Li, president of Seraphim.
Currently, Seraphim has a global production capacity of 5.5 gigawatts. Rodina has so far installed solar power plants with a capacity of 1.5 gigawatts and is mainly active in Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Turkey, beneath others.
