»Scaling Solar« project for 50-megawatt solar power plant in Togo reaches RfP-stage

Nearly three years after launching a tender for a 50-megawatt solar power plant in Togo in December 2019, the West African country’s Agency for Rural Electrification and Renewable Energy (AT2ER) has now requested proposals from a total of nine companies for development, financing, construction and operation. The project is part of the World Bank’s Scaling Solar program. The companies, selected from an original 20 applicants and including major international project developers, have until December to submit their proposals.
