ReNu Energy and Wirsol explore cooperation on solar hydrogen production in Tasmania

ReNu Energy, an Australian company specializing in renewable energy investments, especially hydrogen, and Wirsol Energy, a renewable energy project developer belonging to the German Wircon Group, are to jointly explore opportunities for solar power supply for hydrogen production plants in the Australian state of Tasmania. According to an agreement between ReNu Energy’s subsidiary Countrywide Hydrogen Pty Ltd and Wirsol Energy, the corresponding potential of solar and battery storage projects will be evaluated for this purpose. Countrywide is pursuing one hydrogen production project each in northern and southern Tasmania and two others in the state of Victoria. The companies involved did not provide further details.
