Renesola sells Polish solar projects to Danish investor

Chinese solar project developer Renesola Ltd. has sold a portfolio totaling 37 megawatts in Poland to Danish photovoltaic investor Obton A/S. The transaction, which has only just been announced, took place last December, according to Renesola, and complements a similar 38-megawatt deal last July.
According to Renesola, the projects are ready for construction and the company will remain responsible for completion. The projects are 33 turbines, each with a capacity of one megawatt, and one 4-megawatt power plant, all of which were awarded in a September 2021 tender and have a 15-year entitlement to remuneration under the price-differential ("contract for difference") system in force in Poland.
