PVH expands production capacity in Saudi Arabia by 8 GW

PV Hardware (PVH), the Spanish manufacturer of mounting systems, tracking systems and system technology for utility-scale solar power plants, has significantly expanded its presence in Saudi Arabia. After establishing its PV Hardware Middle East branch last year and opening its first manufacturing facility for substructures and automatic cleaning systems in Jeddah, the new factory now adds production capacity for 8 gigawatts of solar power plants annually.
The factory will supply the Middle East market, as well as major projects in Europe, America, Asia and Australia. PVH says it is the only tracking system manufacturer with production and a permanent presence in Saudi Arabia. Founded in 2011, the company has so far equipped around 15 GW of solar power plant capacity and is, since 2018, considered the world’s third-largest tracking system manufacturer in the annual surveys conducted by consulting firm Wood Mackenzie.
