PPVX unchanged

The PHOTON Photovoltaic Stock Index PPVX stood at 3,762 points on Friday, almost exactly the same level as the previous week (3,763 points). Its benchmark NYSE Arca Oil gained 4.7 percent. At minus 7.5 percent year-to-date, the PPVX trails the petroleum stock index (up 34.5 percent) by 42.1 percentage points.
Soltec (up 16.6 percent), Shoals Technologies (up 10.7 percent) and Sunpower (up 5.7 percent) posted the week’s biggest price gains, while the biggest losses were suffered by Xinte Energy (17.9 percent), Flat Glass Group (9.6 percent) and West Holdings (6.1 percent). The top 3 stocks year-to-date are Meyer Burger with a 46.0 percent gain, West Holdings (24.1 percent) and Flat Glass Group (19.6 percent); GCL-Poly remains suspended from trading. The highest price losses from January levels are currently posted by Array Technologies (57.1 percent), Scatec (51.9 percent) and Neoen (47.0 percent).
The cumulative market value of all PPVX companies is currently around €125.1 billion ($147.4 billion). In a long-term comparison since the beginning of 2003, the PPVX (up 1,237.3 percent) has a lead of 1,133.2 percentage points over the NYSE Arca Oil (up 104.0 percent).
