PPVX slightly down

After reaching an annual high on November 6, the PHOTON Photovoltaic Stock Index PPVX fell slightly last week by 0.8 percent to 3,128 points. Its reference value NYSE Arca Oil rose significantly by 19.8 percent to 586 points. With an increase of 112.6 percent since the beginning of the year, the PPVX is 160.9 percentage points ahead of the oil stock index (minus 48.4 percent). In a long-term comparison since the beginning of 2003, the PPVX (plus 1,011.7 percent) has a lead of 974 percentage points over the oil stocks (plus 37.7 percent). The cumulative market value of all PPVX companies is currently around €95.8 billion ($113 billion).
The top 3 stocks since the beginning of the year are Enphase with a gain of 346.2 percent, Daqo New Energy (324.6 percent) and Sunrun (301.2 percent), the highest losses compared to January are posted by BCPG (21.0 percent), Motech (12.4 percent) and Maxeon (11.8 percent). This week's highest gains were recorded by Shinsung E&G (19.7 percent), Solarpack (19.1 percent) and GCL-Poly (18.4 percent), while the highest losses were recorded by Array Technologies (14.1 percent), First Solar (10.4 percent) and Motech (7.8 percent).
