PPVX slightly down

Last Friday, the PHOTON Photovoltaic Stock Index PPVX was listed at 1,372 points, 0.4 percent below the level of the previous week. Compared to the beginning of the year, however, the index has still gained 52.7 percent. In the long-term development since January 2003, the PPVX has recorded a plus of 387.7 percent. Its comparative value NYSE Arca Oil ended the week up 2.5 percent. With a plus of 6.6 percent since 1 January, it has lagged the PPVX by 46.1 percentage points (currency-adjusted), and with a plus of 153.6 percent since 2003, it is 234.1 percentage points behind in a long-term comparison.
The PPVX companies with the highest price gains last week were Panda Green Energy (15.4 percent), Sunnova (9.1 percent) and United Renewable Energy (4.2 percent). The highest price losses were suffered by Enphase (14.4 percent), Encavis (7.8 percent) and Meyer Burger (7.6 percent). The highest price gains since the beginning of the year have been achieved by Enphase (437.0 percent), Sunpower (156.5 percent) and Solaredge (120.1 percent). The highest price losses are posted by Shunfeng International (61.5 percent), Meyer Burger (39.2 percent) and Panda Green Energy (37.5 percent). The cumulative market value of all PPVX companies is currently around €38.0 billion ($41.9 billion).
