PPVX increased by 8.6 percent

The PHOTON Photovoltaic Stock Index (PPVX) increased by 8.6 percent to 1,404 points in the past week compared to the week before. Since the beginning of this year, the PPVX increased by 56.3 percent. The reference value for the PPVX, the NYSE Arca Oil, decreased by 2.1 percent. Since the beginning of the year, the Arca Oil increased by 8.8 percent.
Since the beginning of this year, the best performers were Enphase Energy (plus 516 percent), Sunpower (plus 204 percent) and Vivint Solar (plus 128 percent). The best performances in the last week came from Sunpower (plus 47 percent) and Enphase Energy (plus 40 percent), the worst performers were GCL Poly Energy Holding (minus 11 percent) and REC Silicon (minus 11 percent).
Since the beginning of 2003, the PPVX has risen 399 percent (NYSE Arca Oil plus 159 percent). The PPVX currently has a market capitalization of approximately €37.6 billion ($41.8 billion).
