PPVX up 3.4 percent

The PHOTON Photovoltaic Stock Index PPVX rose 3.4 percent last week to 3,988 points. Its reference value NYSE Arca Oil gained 0.3 percent. At minus 2.0 percent year-to-date, the PPVX trails the oil stock index (up 61.1 percent) by 63.1 percentage points.
Xinte Energy (14.8 percent), Solaria Energía (13.6 percent), and West Holdings (12.0 percent) posted the week’s highest gains. The highest price losses were incurred by Shoals Technologies (8.1 percent), Array Technologies (5.0 percent), and Sino-American Silicon (2.7 percent). The top 3 stocks since the beginning of the year are Meyer Burger with a price gain of 35.0 percent, Flat Glass Group (30.4 percent) and West Holdings (29.4 percent), while the highest price losses compared to January were recorded by Array Technologies (58.8 percent), Scatec (51.3 percent) and Soltec (47.1 percent).
The cumulative market value of all PPVX companies is currently around €133.9 billion ($115.0 billion). In a long-term comparison since the beginning of 2003, the PPVX (up 1,317.7 percent) has a lead of 1,173.4 percentage points over the NYSE Arca Oil (up 144.3 percent).
