PI Berlin expects new photovoltaic boom in Italy

Powertis and Aquila Capital to develop 750 megawatt solar projects in Italy

German Photovoltaik-Institut Berlin AG (PI Berlin) expects a second photovoltaic boom in Italy. »More and more investors from Europe and also from Italy want to buy or build PV power plants,« says Steven Xuereb, Director of Sales and Project Delivery at PI Berlin. The country is expected to see at least a doubling of installed capacity over the next three years.
For this reason, PI Berlin will have a representative in Italy. As Business Development Manager, Giuseppe Farinato will be the local contact for services related to the planning, construction and quality assurance of solar power plants and advises investors and operators on how they can minimize risks and optimize their returns. Previously, he was Operation & Maintenance Manager at project developer Voltalia Italy.
PI Berlin has offices in Europe, USA and China. It advises on the planning, construction and operation of photovoltaic power plants.
