Photovoltaik-Institut Berlin monitored four PV plants in Jordan

11 MW power plant in Ma’an, Jordan

Acting as an independent consultant, German Photovoltaik-Institut Berlin (PI Berlin) has assisted in the acceptance of four photovoltaic power plants with a total capacity of 57 MW in Jordan. The facilities are located in the renewable energy development areas created by the Jordanian government in Ma’an and Mafraq. PI Berlin monitored module production, conducted lab tests and performed the final inspection of modules in the field.
»It was very important for us to have the quality of our modules tested from the very beginning of the project. Current prices mean that we simply can’t afford to suffer substantial losses due to production defects,« says Ahmed Sari, Vice President of project developer Adenium Energy Capital Ltd.
