Taiwan-based solar cell manufacturer Neo Solar Power Corp. (NSP) posted a 300.12% year-on-year increase in revenue in the month of December thanks to the recent merger of NSP and fellow Taiwanese cell producer DelSolar Co. Ltd. Revenue for the month reached 2,405 million TWD ($79.7 million), up 300.12% year on year and 3.12% month on month. In 2013, NSP recorded revenue of 20,091 million TWD, up 64.13% from 2012. NSP and DelSolar completed the final stage of their merger on May 31, 2013; however, NSP’s monthly revenue has only included DelSolar’s contribution since July. Operating under the NSP name, the combined entity has a solar cell production capacity of around 1.9 GW and a module production capacity of nearly 400 MW.
