Neo Solar Power registers 178.2% increase in revenue in February

Taiwan-based solar cell manufacturer Neo Solar Power Corp. (NSP) posted a 171.18% year-on-year increase in revenue in the month of February thanks to the recent merger of NSP and fellow Taiwanese cell producer DelSolar Co. Ltd. Revenue for the month reached 2,335 million TWD ($77.1 million), up 171.18% year on year and down 3.67% month on month. Aggregate revenue from January and February 2014 was up 186.70% year on year at 4,759 million TWD.
NSP and DelSolar completed the final stage of their merger on May 31, 2013; however, NSP’s monthly revenue has only included DelSolar’s contribution since July 2013. Operating under the NSP name, the combined entity has a solar cell production capacity of around 1.9 GW and a module production capacity of nearly 400 MW.
