Meyer Burger announces 60-cell module with a record power of 327 W

Swiss equipment manufacturer Meyer Burger AG announced it has been able to develop a standard 60-cell solar module with a record power of 327 W. The company, which has said that the result was confirmed by the independent test laboratory SUPSI, claims that the new record was also combined with a simultaneous reduction in production costs. The module is based on the company’s heterojunction technology (HJT) on 156x156 mm bifacial cells in conjunction with the SmartWire Connection Technology (SWCT).
