Macau plans solar incentives

The government of Macau is expected to issue new regulations on the installation of solar power systems this year, according to local newspaper MacauDaily. Macau’s Office for the Development of the Energy Sector (GDSE) is currently planning a solar incentive scheme that could include a FIT program in its initial stage, the article reports. The scheme would preferably support the installation of residential PV systems, taking into account the limited surface area in the country. The article does not say when the scheme is expected to be introduced.
