On April 1 in Beijing, Chinese solar manufacturer Longi announced a strategic shift dubbed »Longi One«. Instead of solar storage solutions using components from various manufacturers, Longi One will exclusively combine the company’s own solar and storage technologies. The company is presenting the innovation under the motto »One system, one platform, and one responsibility.« Support will be provided through a growing network of service centers. According to the company, 30 of these centers are set to open worldwide by 2028.

Longi offers its »Longi One« systems for large-scale installations as well as for commercial and industrial (C&I) applications. For large-scale projects, Longi has introduced »OneBank 2.0«, an integrated AC/DC storage system with an advanced safety design. According to Longi, the company’s proprietary iCCS technology enables fault detection and isolation within milliseconds. This reduces system-level failure rates and shortens the time to commissioning.

Longi also presented »OneMatrix 2.0«, a modular solution at the plant level with storage durations of two, four, and eight hours. The system can shorten deployment time and reduce lifecycle costs.

For the C&I sector, Longi introduced »Hi-MO One« in combination with the »EnergyOne« platform. According to Longi, the solution offers a module efficiency of 24.8 percent and a system efficiency of up to 90.3 percent, response times under 20 milliseconds, and AI-based energy management.
