German wholesaler Krannich Solar has added battery energy storage systems (BESS) from Chinese manufacturer Sunwoda Energy to its product portfolio. According to Krannich, the new partnership expands its range of energy storage solutions to include scalable, modular, and technologically advanced solutions for residential and commercial applications.
Krannich Solar currently offers three product lines from Sunwoda Energy:

  • SunESS-Power – A smart all-in-one residential system with an integrated three-phase hybrid inverter (up to 15 kW), modular battery capacity from 5 to 40 kWh, and built-in EMS and BMS. The system is backup-ready and designed for fast, streamlined installation.
  • Oasis 60 – A plug & play high-voltage energy storage system with a capacity of 60 kWh, which can be flexibly expanded to up to six cabinets on the DC side. It is currently compatible with common inverters such as SMA, Axitec, and Sofar – suited for small to medium-sized commercial applications.
  • Oasis L215 / L344 – Compact, powerful high-voltage energy storage systems with capacities of 215 kWh and 344 kWh. These turnkey plug-and-play solutions are for medium to large commercial applications and can be flexibly scaled to suit project requirements. Compatible with inverter brands such as SMA, Kaco and more.

Sunwoda Electronic Co., Ltd. was founded in 1997, has been listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange since 2011, and has also been represented on the Swiss Stock Exchange via GDRs since 2022. According to Krannich, the company is one of the world’s leading players in the field of lithium-ion batteries. Sunwoda originally comes from the OEM sector and has been developing customized battery systems for the consumer goods, automotive, and photovoltaic industries for many years. Since 2023, Sunwoda has been active under its own name in the international market for stationary storage solutions.
