Juwi will install 82 MW solar park for US utility Duke Energy

Juwi Inc, US subsidiary of the German Juwi Group, will install the 82 MW solar park »Palmer Solar« in Colorado Springs, Colorado on behalf of the US utility Duke Energy Renewables. Commissioning is scheduled for the end of this year.
Juwi will also provide Duke Energy with EPC services like engineering, purchasing components and constructing, including the grid connection. Juwi will also be responsible for technical operations management. For El Paso County, the project will generate real estate tax revenues of $5.2 million over the entire 20-year project period. In addition, 200 jobs will be created during the construction phase. In Colorado Springs, Duke Energy is cooperating with a consortium of several energy suppliers (Colorado Springs Utilities), which sell the generated electricity to their customers.
