Invenergy and SB Energy to build two PV plants in Japan

Invenergy Japan G.K., subsidiary of US clean energy company Invenergy LLC, and SB Energy Corp., a subsidiary of Softbank Group Corp., announced a partnership that will enable the joint development, financing, construction and operation of two new large-scale solar projects in Japan: Queens Solar Energy G.K. and Koumi Kogen Solar Energy G.K.
»Queens Solar Farm« operated by Queens Solar Energy G.K. is located in Matsukawa-machi, Fukushima City, Fukushima prefecture, and will have the capacity of 10.5 MW. The companies estimate power production of 10.2 million kWh per year. The 10.4 MW »Koumi Kogen Solar Farm« operated by Koumi Kogen Solar Energy G.K. is located in Koumi-machi, Minamisaku-gun, Nagano prefecture, approximately 100 miles northwest of Tokyo, and will generate 12.4 million kWh per year. More details were not disclosed.
