Ideematec supplies tracking systems for 100 MW Agri-PV project portfolio to France

German Ideematec GmbH will supply tracking systems in the order of 100 MW for an Agri-Photovaltaik project in France. The portfolio includes 20 systems of five megawatts each from project developer AMDA Energía.
According to the company, it has modified and optimized its Horizon L:TEC tracker model, and also »developed an agri-PV-specific control and agronomy-oriented monitoring system« to improve crop production and soil quality and meet the specific requirements of each project site. The solar equipment can be placed to »support efficient agricultural operations, such as moving large vehicles between rows of modules or monitoring sites to increase power generation efficiency,« says Mario Eckl, co-founder and CEO of Ideematec.
Ideematec has so far supplied its tracking systems to projects in Jordan (250 MW), Australia (350 MW) and Spain (200 MW), among others. AMDA Energía is a Spanish solar and wind farm developer that has launched plants in Spain, Portugal, France, South Africa, Mozambique, Tunisia, Colombia and Mexico, among other countries.
