DSW Deutsche Speicherwerke GmbH, a newly founded company based in Chemnitz, aims to set new standards in large-scale storage technology. The company, managed by the Trinkerl family, offers “customized, scalable energy storage systems for industry, commerce, agriculture and critical infrastructures”, according to a company statement.
“With our storage solutions, companies can use their energy more intelligently – more economically, more independently and more sustainably. With Heckert Solar as a strong sales partner, we are bringing these technologies directly to the market,” explains Benjamin Trinkerl, Managing Director of DSW Deutsche Speicherwerke GmbH and also Managing Director of Heckert Solar GmbH.
The DSW BESS 261 & DSW BESS 745 storage solutions are modularly scalable and offer flexible application options from individual systems to large storage parks with a capacity of over 100 MWh. Lithium-iron-phosphate (LFP) batteries are used, which, according to the company, guarantee maximum safety and reliability thanks to overcharge protection and temperature monitoring. They are distributed exclusively by Heckert Solar.
