To celebrate its 15th anniversary, the solar energy systems provider GoodWe unveiled a new phase in its corporate strategy.

At the event, held at the company’s headquarters in Suzhou on November 5th, China, founder and CEO Daniel Huang announced plans to build an ecosystem for energy prosumers. »In the near future, every household, factory, community, and even city will become an energy prosumer, producing, consuming, and sharing energy intelligently,« Huang told employees, partners and customers who had travelled to Suzhou for the meeting.

Since its foundation in 2010, GoodWe has evolved from a manufacturer of string inverters to a provider of complete energy solutions. In 2020, GoodWe began expanding its portfolio. This began with storage systems and progressed to building-integrated PV components, such as lightweight modules, chargers for electric vehicles and, most recently, heat pumps. GoodWe’s range now extends from small balcony systems and mini storage units to solutions for single-family homes, as well as commercial and industrial facilities. The company can now offer integrated solutions and connect them with each other at all levels of the energy system. According to a company spokesperson, achieving this is a »milestone«.
