Glenmont to invest $150 million in SK D&D solar projects in South Korea

UK-based renewable-energy-focused fund manager Glennmont Partners from Nuveen and South Korean renewable energy project developer SK D&D have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to cooperate on PV projects in South Korea worth a total of around $150 million. According to the agreement, SK D&D will source, manage and operate the projects, while Glenmont will »play the role of raising debt financing and selling projects to end buyers.« SK D&D also intends to »enter the electricity trading business full scale in earnest, and will benefit from the data generated by the assets to be acquired from the potential co-investments.«
