On Monday (November 21), Germany's Economics Minister Robert Habeck met for the second time with representatives of the wind industry, the solar industry and grid operators to discuss production capacities for the energy transition. The aim is to improve the conditions for building production capacities in Germany. For example, according to a statement from the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology (BMWK), easier access to capital for investments in production capacities is conceivable. »Here, my house is now examining whether supplementary instruments are necessary here and what these could look like,« Habeck said. Also addressed at the meeting were equity hybrid instruments for financing transformation investments. »We are also looking at this. Various issues, including state aid law, will have to be knocked off in the process.«
