Germany registered new PV installations with 619 MW in April

In April, PV systems with a capacity of almost 619.5 MW were newly registered with the German Federal Network Agency (BNetzA). This means that 2.05 GW of new capacity were registered in the first four months of the year. Extrapolated for the year as a whole, this would correspond to an addition of 6.16 GW.
Of the installations reported for April, 376.4 MW were erected outside the tendering process; from January to April, 1.58 GW have now been registered here. 22.3 MW of capacity were erected outside of tenders as ground-mounted systems (January to April: 164.8 MW).
