German EEG levy account reaches a plus of €2.07 billion

The EEG levy account managed by the four German transmission system operators had a accumulated surplus of €2.07 billion ($2,45 billion) at the end of February. Revenues amounted to €2.28 billion. The expenses totaling €1.46 billion charged to the levy account in February were predominantly (€1.45 billion) attributable to remuneration payments to plant operators. The monthly balance for January is €817 million.
