Energiequelle commissions first solar park in France

German Energiequelle GmbH has commissioned its first solar project in France through its French subsidiary P&T Technologie. 405-watt modules from the Chinese manufacturer Talesun with a total output of 14.7 MW were installed on 15.6 hectares. The projected annual yield is 16.2 million kilowatt hours. The electricity produced will be remunerated at 5.15 Eurocent per kilowatt hour over a period of 20 years.
Construction by the French group Bouygues began in January of this year and the plant was built in cooperation with EREA Ingenierie in the centrally located town of Decize, north of Moulin. According to Energiequelle, it has implemented photovoltaic projects in Germany, Spain and Italy in recent years. The company is currently responsible for the operational management of 22 plants.
