Econergy to develop and build 460 MW portfolio in Greece

Israeli project developer and operator Econergy Renewable Energy Ltd. has entered a partnership with Greek renewable energy company Terna Energy. The agreement will see Econergy develop and construct two solar plants of 240 MW and 220 MW, respectively, located in the Kilkis region. The total investment is estimated at €265 million ($286 million), of which Econergy’s share is approximately €130 million. The two projects are anticipated to reach the ready-to-build phase by Q3 of 2023, with construction work expected to begin in Q4 of 2023 and completion by the end of 2024.
