Delta presents new inverters from 15 to 250 kilowatts

Delta Solar Solutions, the inverter division of Delta Electronics Europe, will showcase new devices for residential, commercial and utility scale applications at »The Smarter E« exhibition, including new types in the »Flex« series, designed for versatility with a wide input voltage range and a high number of MPP trackers.
The most powerful and newest model in this series is the »M100A Flex« (photo) with 100 kW of power and an input voltage range of 200 to 1,000 V. The three-phase device operates with eight MPP trackers, and EU efficiency is 98.4 percent. With IP66 housing protection class, the inverter is also designed for ground-mounted systems.
Also following the »Flex« design are three much smaller units, the M15A, M20A and M30A, ranging from 15 to 30 kW. Their input voltage ranges are also from 200 to 1,000 V, and they are equipped with two (M15A) to three MPP trackers. European efficiency is 98.3 to 98.6 percent. The three-phase devices operate entirely with convection cooling, i.e. without fans, and are therefore recommended by Delta especially for use in noise-sensitive environments.
Intended for large solar power plants is the M250HV string inverter with 250 kW, 500 to 1,500 V input voltage range and twelve MPP trackers. Its European efficiency rating is 98.8 percent. The cooling works with a combination of convection and (replaceable) fan modules, the manufacturer therefore recommends the device for use at high outdoor temperatures.
