Construction begins on Q Energy projects with 105 megawatts in Spain

Q Energy Solutions SE, the European renewable energy project developer of Korea’s Hanwha Solutions, has begun construction of two solar power plants in Spain. The two plants, designed with tracking systems, are located in the municipalities of Guadalcázar and Córdoba in the southern Spanish province of Córdoba and are scheduled to come online next year with a capacity of 52.5 megawatts each. Q Energy currently puts its project pipeline at 15 gigawatts (GW), including 6 GW in Spain and Portugal.
Q Energy was formed last year from the »Green Energy Solutions« business unit of Hanwha Q Cells GmbH and from RES France, which had been acquired by Hanwha Solutions in October 2021.
