Centrotherm reports strong revenue growth

German PV equipment manufacturer Centrotherm Photovoltaics AG posted a strong revenue increase for the period from Jun. 1 to Dec. 31, 2013. Revenue for the period was €119.4 million ($164.7 million), up 70% from the period from Oct. 1, 2012 to May 31, 2013, that was one month longer. The company posted for the period a net loss of €7.6 million, a substantial improvement from a loss of €77.4 million in the same period of the prior year. Order intake for the period reached €39.6 million, slightly up from €30.7 a year ago. The company said that order intake for last yeat »continued to be characterized by the PV industry’s reluctance to invest.«
Looking forward, the company expects to generate revenues in amount of €150 million to €200 million this year.
