Canadian Solar completes 30 MW PV plant in western China

Chinese-Canadian solar company Canadian Solar Inc. (CSI) has commissioned a 30 MW PV power plant in western China’s Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region. The project, located on nearly 250 acres in Tumushuke City, was developed by CSI Solar Power (China) Inc., a subsidiary of Canadian Solar Inc., with Gaochuangte New Energy acting as EPC contractor. The plant relies on approximately 129,600 Canadian Solar CS6P-235P modules and is CSI’s largest operational PV installation in China.
