British 840 MW project enters consultation phase

German developer Photovolt Development Partners GmbH (DVDP) plans to build an 840-megawatt solar farm in Oxfordshire, England. The »Botley West Solar Farm« is to be spread across three sites: north of Woodstock, west of Kidlington and west of Botley. Regulatory approvals are expected to be in place by early 2025, with construction scheduled to begin the following summer. Once completed, the Botley West Solar Farm is expected to generate electricity for 330,000 homes.
DVDP is presenting the project at several informational meetings in the coming weeks.
