Bermuda's solar rebate program reaches $650.000 financial cap

Bermuda’s incentive scheme for small-scale PV systems reached its cap of $650,000 this week, according to local newspaper The Royal Gazette. Launched in 2009, the small-scale solar program, which was designed to support the installation of residential PV systems through a rebate of $5,000 for each project, had originally a budget of $500,000. The scheme awarded rebates for roughly $191,000 only this year.
