Belectric to install 57 MW solar projects in the Netherlands

In 2020, Belectric had commissioned the Dutsch solar park »Hof van Twente« (9 MW) for Kronos Solar.

German Belectric Solar & Battery GmbH has signed contracts to install three solar projects with a total capacity of 57 MW for Kronos Solar. As EPC contractor, Belectric is building the plants in the Dutch provinces of Overijssel and Gelderland. Commissioning and grid connection are scheduled to take place this year. The company will also be responsible for O&M service. Last year, Belectric had already commissioned the solar parks »Hof van Twente« (over 9 MW) and »Hoogeveen« (around 24 MW) for Kronos.
In addition to the projects for Kronos Solar, Belectric is currently working in the Netherlands on the 38 MW »Haringvliet Zuid Energy Park«, located about 30 kilometers southwest of Rotterdam, owned by Vattenfall Duurzame Energie N.V. The hybrid project consists of the PV plant, a wind farm (22 MW) and a battery storage system (12 MW).
According to Ingo Alphéus, CEO, Belectric Solar & Battery GmbH will have installed more than 160 MW of solar capacity in the Netherlands by the end of 2021.
