Australia added 671.9 MW of new rooftop PV systems in 2013.

Australia had 1,161,245 rooftop PV systems, representing 3,096 MW of installed PV capacity, as of Dec. 31, 2013, according to new figures from Australia’s Clean Energy Regulator. The country registered 671.9 MW of new rooftop PV systems in 2013. In December, 1,723 new rooftop PV installations totaling 7.5 MW were registered under the country’s Renewable Energy Target (RET) scheme, down sharply from 44.7 MW in November, 61.9 MW in October and 55.9 MW in September.
